This week we will look at the life and central teachings of both Jesus and the Buddha. We will consider both the differences as well as the similarities with issues like karma and grace, suffering and sin, reincarnation and resurrection, as well as nirvana and heaven.

God of Love, in Jesus Christ you walked the paths we walk
And know firsthand the suffering of this world.
You tell us that you are present with us in every situation.
Help us as we seek to love like you love
And to walk with others in their struggles.
As we share in this time together,
Help each of us to learn how to love our neighbors better.
