The Other

Jesus came to embrace and empower the poor, the sick, the lame, the outcast, and the lonely. Throughout his entire life and ministry, we see story after story of his connection to and community with those who were rejected and marginalized for one reason or another. None of their “otherness” ever seemed to make a difference to Jesus. He simply brought the good news of God’s kingdom to those who most needed to hear it.

Come join us this week as we consider the invitation of Jesus to follow him into an open and radically inclusive way of being in the world, even though it will undoubtedly come at the cost of criticism, ridicule, and rejection by those who just don't get it.
