Prayers and Gratitude on a Fall Sunday Afternoon

It was a gorgeous fall Sunday that the GraceKids families ventured to the Labyrinth at The House Next Door in Princeton Junction. As golden leaves gently fell from the trees, several families gathered around a table to paint prayer stones. Participants then walked their stones to the center of the labyrinth and placed them there. They picked up a LOVE stone to take on their journey back out of the labyrinth.

When all the kids had finished their prayer walks, families gathered in a circle to process their experience. The crunching of the stones and the borders of brick created a soothing place to focus on God. Parents then had their turns in the labyrinth while kids played on the playground, decorated more stones or played with the branches and leaves.

Everyone left refreshed and grateful.
