Yin yoga is different from all other Yogas because it targets your deep connective tissues, fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. It’s slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward, to tune out your mind and turn in to the physical sensations of your body. Poses are held for much longer periods of time and move at a much slower pace. You will learn how to breathe through discomfort and sit with your thoughts. This introspective yoga practice is simple but not easy.
