In the fall of 2023, Grace offered a book study of God and the Gay Christian by Matthew Vines.  Over four weeks, the class explored six Biblical passages within the framework of Vines’ belief that “the full authority of Scripture can also affirm committed, monogamous same-sex relationships.”  As the class concluded, many expressed the desire for additional work and practice on how to effectively engage in the controversial discussions surrounding the issue. In response, we are offering a 3-week course that will utilize role-play and improvisation to equip participants to infuse the values of justice and God’s love in discussions of God and the Gay Christian.
