Class #3: EPISTLES
Our 1st quarter teaching via video will be done by Dr. Jennifer Garcia Bashaw, Associate Professor of New Testament and Christian Ministry at Campbell University in North Carolina, and an ordained Baptist minister with a passion for teaching the Bible and training pastors. After each 60 minute teaching session we will have a 30 minute Q&A facilitated by Pastor Vincent & Lorraine.
#3: Get a Grip on the Epistles: Understanding the New Testament Letters (last class)
The Epistles are among the most challenging genres in the New Testament for modern readers to understand. These letters are often fragments of larger discussions we don’t fully see, written with specific purposes and cultural contexts that can seem foreign or confusing to us today. As a result, we often find ourselves trying to interpret the Epistles without a clear understanding of the broader context they were addressing. In this class, we will provide you with invaluable tools and insights to help you navigate these complexities.
