Women’s Retreat – Ocean Grove
Walking on Water in the Midst of Life’s Storms
March 8-10, 2024
@ Grove Hall in Ocean Grove
Join us for a weekend of spiritual growth, as we learn how to not just weather life’s storms, but walk on water during them. Storms help us to reveal what we really believe—do we fully trust God? Like the disciples, Jesus wants to bring us into deeper waters so He can teach us to trust Him and deepen our faith in Him. He leads us into storms so He can reveal His faithfulness to us. We’ll learn the power of prayer, the power of the Word of God, and that intimacy with Jesus increases our trust during turbulent times. We know God has a lot in store for this weekend, and we hope you’ll join us as He reveals more of Himself to us.
Our retreat is at Grove Hall, 15 Pilgrim Pathway in Ocean Grove. It is the big rooming house located close to the Great Auditorium and about four blocks from the beach. (The phone number, for emergencies only is 732-775-6720.) There is a form that each woman will need to fill out which outlines the pricing for the weekend and for just Saturday attendance. The cost covers your room for two nights and four meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday, as well as materials needed for the retreat.)
For those women staying the full weekend, a deposit in the amount of $100 is due by December 1, 2023. Please make checks payable to Grace Christian Church and write in the memo “Women’s Retreat March 2024.” Please include the Room Accommodation / Contact Form with your check together. Deposits for those attending Saturday only will be $25. You can mail it to the church or drop it off in the Women’s Ministry mailbox. Sharon Learn, as part of the Women’s Ministry team, will be collecting the deposits and forms. Please contact Sharon 732-298-2929 or Amy Jengo with questions.
