Winter Sermon Series
(January 7 – February 11, 2024)
HELLO MY NAME IS…
Sometimes when you attend an event (a class, workshop, retreat, etc.) you might be asked to wear a name tag. This, of course, helps to introduce you to people that you don’t know. It isn’t much because the tag only provides you with a person’s name. It’s nothing more and nothing less than a starting point. But once you know someone’s name, it opens the door to the possibility of learning more about who they are and what they’re all about.
As we begin a new year, we are pleased to introduce you to some relatively unknown 8th century BC prophets whose names you need to know and whose stories you must hear. Our hope is that as you listen to their stories you will see just how timeless and relevant their message is to us these days.
Come join us as we rediscover the importance of what God requires, which is that we do what
is fair and just, that we love mercy and show kindness, and walk humbly with our God and neighbor, no matter who our neighbor may be.
