Maundy Thursday Zoom Worship

An interactive and worshipful communion service on zoom (link), remembering the Last Supper of Jesus with his disciples. Prayer, lectio divina scripture reading, worship, communion, and a message from Brene’ Brown.

Come and remember the love of Jesus,
gathered at table with his friends.

Come to receive from Christ the bread of life,
the cup of blessing.

Come, receive the tender service Christ offers each of us;
Come to receive the challenge of the new commandment:
“Love one another.”

Create a holy space in your home.

Please have available paper and pen, 4 candles, a lighter and communion elements. As this is a special service, maybe be more intentional about the bread or cracker you use, or the juice you bring. Maybe set them on a special plate or in a special cup. Or if you’re a baker, here’s a recipe for bread.
