Ash Wednesday

(2 Available Times: 12:00pm – 1:00pm  / 7:00pm – 8:00pm)

Ash Wednesday begins the Christian season of Lent, which is a time for both personal and corporate spiritual renewal. In the 40 days between Ash Wednesday and Easter, we will journey with Jesus toward the cross and toward the death that ultimately brings us resurrection life. In the coming days, many of us will begin practicing a new spiritual discipline or try giving something up that seems to be getting in the way of the life we long to live.

On Wednesday, March 2, we will mark the beginning of that journey by opening our sanctuary on 2 separate occasions: 12:00pm – 1:00pm; 7:00pm – 8:00pm for an interactive time of reflection, prayer, and action.

In our sanctuary, there will be 4 discrete stations, each with appropriate guidance, practical hands-on exercises, and prayers that are child friendly so that families can take part together, if they choose.

Please know that you are free to come and spend as little, or as much time as you have available. But whether it is 15 minutes or an hour, we sincerely hope that you will make the time to begin the Lenten journey with us beginning Ash Wednesday.
